It took about 113 minutes to determine the champion of 2014 World Cup in Brazil. German's substitute, Mario Götze rush to the Argentinian penalty box to chest a pass from Andre Schurrle before lashes a stinging shot pass goalkeeper Romero to win the World Cup for the Germans. Prior to that, Germany and Argentina lethargically played to a 0-0 during the 90 minutes and the game was less entertaining not as expected.

With this win, Germany becomes the only European country managed to win a World Cup in South American soil. Germany also become the European country with the most World Cup win with four times being champion.

The semifinalists of the 2014 World Cup have already been determined. The hosts Brazil will face the runners-up in 2002, Germany while the 2006 finalist, Netherlands will face Argentina in the other semifinal. It involves clashes of teams from two continents, Europe and South America. Which continent will remains? And which continents will bowed out? And most importantly, which teams will meet in the final? We choose Germany vs Argentina to be in the final.

The 2014 World Cup in Brasil is now at the quarter-final stage. However, there were some surprises at this edition of World Cup after some footballing giants such as England, Spain and Italy failed to advance to the second round despite having star-studded player in their teams. One of the reasons is that these star players performed very bad and eventually caused their team failing to advance to the next stage.

Although the World Cup is currently at the quarter-finals stage, we can already see some so-called "star" players who have not performing well for their team. We provide you the top ten list of star-studded players who flopped big time in the 2014 World Cup.

Cassillas and his teammates are World Cup champion in 2010 and twice won the European Championship back to back in 2012 and 2008. Casillas is also among top goalkeepers in the world in which he is the No. 1 custodian for his club, Real Madrid. However, prior to the World Cup, Casillas were out for several months due to injuries and did not play regularly towards the end of La Liga season this year.

Casillas made a number of mistakes especially in the Spanish demolition by the Netherlands in their first group match, when they lost 1-5. Three mistakes by Casillas gave the Netherlands easy task to score and Spain slumped to their biggest defeat in recent years.

Steven Gerard failed to captained England to achieve better achievement than they did in the 2010 World Cup after they failed to qualify even to the second round. England could not even won any match, despite having star-studded players from their Premier League. Steven Gerard even made it worst after accidentally assisted his Liverpool team mate, Luis Suarez to score Uruguay's winning goal in their second group D match, with Uruguay won by 2-1.

Andreas Pirlo, the genius playmaker of Italy has also failed to shine in this World Cup. Although he played a very influential role for Italy when they defeated England 2-1 in their first match, Pirlo failed to deliver in his next two games. Their other group D opponents such as Costa Rica and Uruguay knew Pirlo's capability and they have guarded well Pirlo by giving special attention over him on the field.

Shinji Kagawa failed miserably to pushed Japan to qualify to the next round. Japan could not even match the performance of their group C opponents such as Colombia, Greece and Ivory Coast. Kagawa had a very quite performance during this World Cup, and was overshadowed by the high work rate of his team mate Daisuke Honda.

Boasted as the engine room of Real Madrid, Luka Modric seems failed to deliver for Croatia in this World Cup. He could not guide Croatia to qualify to the next round after being defeated by Brazil and Mexico in their group D matches. Although Modric bounced back in their second game by thrashing Cameroon 4-0, Modric failed to give another good performance in their last match against Mexico and they lost 1-3.

Came to the 2014 World Cup as the 2013 African Footballer of The Year and as English Premier League 2013/2014 champion with Manchester City, Toure failed to lift Ivory Coast pass group C. Showing different performance unlike what he did in the Premier League, it did not help Ivory Coast either in their group matches. Although they managed to secure a win in their first match against Japan, Toure performed badly in the following games in which Ivory Coast are defeated in their last two games agains Colombia and Greece.

Came as World Footballer of the Year 2013, Ronaldo failed to shine with his team Portugal. The problem with Ronaldo was not just himself, but also his team. Portugal's failure to reach the second round should also be blamed to his coach Beto of mishandling the team in terms of tactics and failed to motivate the players. Ronaldo could only manage to score one goal in this tournament.

Balotelli have failed to live up to many expectations as he performed badly in this World Cup campaign. Managed to score only one goal against England in Italy's first match, Balotelli failed to repeat his scoring feat in the other two matches. Even Italy only managed to score two goals throughout their campaign which brought them to the third placing in their group D.

After helping his team Schalke 04 for the third place in Bundesliga, Kevin-Prince Boateng came to Brazil with high expectations by Ghanaian fans with almost a star-studded Ghana team. However, he had not just failed to perform well for Ghana, Kevin-Prince Boateng was even sent home before their World Cup campaign ends after having a dispute with their manager, James Kwasi Appiah. With the controversies surrounding the Black Star squad, Ghana failed to qualify for the next round.

Having played for Brazil national squad, Diego Costa then represented Spain after receiving his Spanish passport in March this year that allowed him to play for La Roja. He got his first Spanish cap during the warm up game prior to the World Cup against El Salvador. After giving such a good performance for Athletico Madrid with 36 goals this season, many had put high hopes for Costa to deliver for Spain in the 2014 World Cup. However, Costa and his team failed miserably and bowed out early with Costa failed to register yet his first goal for Spain.

Malaysian netizens have been shocked by the news about Malaysia chosen as the location for U.S reality television show - with naked peoples.

The series entitled as, Naked and Afraid, produced by the Discovery Channel, in which it is a Survivor-like reality program with one man and two women contestants - completely naked.

The show consists of different locations in different episode, Malaysia has been used in the episode entitled, "The Pain Forest". It is said that the location used in this episode was in the Royal Belum Forest in Perak.

Malaysia is well-known as a Islamic practising country and this incident shouldn't be happening if the responsible authorities are aware of the situation. Although the TV-series is just for the American viewers, but these kind of obscenity should not be shot here in Malaysia. Open naked people is such a taboo here in Malaysia, and this has been an insult to the Malaysian country by the westerners. They should have respect the rules and regulation and also the culture of Malaysian people.

Will this be happening again in the future? I hope not...Malaysia is not the place to promote nudity..

Footballers naturalization is not new at least in Southeast Asia... Singapore has few players from their naturalization policy which include Agu Cashmir ( Nigeria ) , Qiu Li ( China ) , Mustafic Fahrudin ( Bosnia ) , Aleksander Duric (Yugoslavia ) , Daniel Bennett ( England ) and Precious Emuejeraye ( Nigeria ) .

This method appeared to have a lot of success to Singapore , especially in the AFF championship when they won it four times (1998 , 2004, 2007 , and 2012). Following the success of the naturalization policy by Singapore, Indonesia then followed suit. They recruit some foreign players who have played in their local league which include Cristian Gonzalez ( Uruguay ) , Victor Igbonefo ( Nigeria ) , Raphael Maitimo ( Netherlands ) , Tony Cussell ( Netherlands ) , and Jhonny van Beukering ( Netherlands ) .

Malaysia has only taking one toward player naturalization, when a player who was born in Australia but has a Malaysian father, Brendan Gan has just got Malaysian citizenship . Through the efforts of the Football Association of Bihar Adviser , Tan Sri Annuar Musa , Brendan Gan, who is currently playing as a local player squad for FIFA Bihar now awaiting approval to be able to represent the Tigers.

However, based on the The Star reports, Malaysian Minister of Youth and Sports, Khairy Jamaluddin rejects the idea for naturalizing players as it would kill the development of local players.
